For Displaced - Penis Festival Time In Japan!

Hah!  Been saving this up for the day DS should happen to wander back over here.  She has; so here we go!

The penis forms the central theme of the event and is seen in trinkets for sale including illustrations, candy, carved vegetables and decorations. The Shinto shrine at the centre of the event was once popular among prostitutes who wished to pray for protection against sexually transmitted diseases.

The celebrations are now used to raise money for HIV research.(GoneHollywood)

Okay … WHO BROKE THE INTERNET?? (WWTDD EDITION)

Okay you nitwits.  Who broke the thread … AGAIN?  Sheesh, I’m gone just a few days and you guys go around and break the damn thing.  Way to go.  :P

Well, as I sit here and ponder if we’re going to get that thing started again (or maybe Brendon and his little peon have had enough of us) - I’ve decided to park my ass over here.  Just you THIS thread for the latest rant.

BTW, for those who are reading this and have NOOOO idea what I’m talking about .. well I’m not about to explain it all.  Just read and hopefully it will make sense.

…At the very least it’ll be the ravings of a madman.  :D

Well, here it is… The Re-re-resurrected Thread.   Anyone and everyone is invited.  For the record I’ll be around from about 10PM to 2:30AM.  Granted, not a lot of time but I miss ALL of you guys so … feel COMPLETELY free to do everything short of spamming with Viagra sites and were cool.  Don’t worry, I plan on being here as well … may as well test the limits of WordPress, huh?
UPDATE - Yeah still usually its 10PM to 2AM.  Course, its hard for me to stay tacked down as I try to continue to find the best gossip/shit lying around on the Intertubes.  :)
