Eternal Summer Saturday (The Oscars Ed.)

Up to about 30 seconds ago this was a post on how I was prepping for live-blogging for the Academy Awards.  Then I started thinking about:

  • The Oscars are boring as shit most of the time
  • Its difficult to live blog and watch the show at the same time for me
  • I’d rather just post up pics.
  • I really don’t care who wins this year.

So here’s my guesses on who’ll probably win:

Supporting Actress: Mo’Nique

Supporting Actor:  The german from Inglorious Basterds

Actress:  Sandra Bullock

Actor:  Jeff Bridges

Director:  The chick who did “The Hurt Locker“

The only possible surprises are if the other black chick from Precious wins over Sandra Bullock and if Hurt Locker manages to beat Avatar.  Other than that same old same old.
