So…

Work is bearing down on me (though off this weekend, thank Vishnu).  I was in the process of posting something last nite when a nasty rainstorm came rolling thru.  Normally, I like that (since we’re in drought mode here) - until I my bedroom ceiling started dripping water.  That only lasted for about an hour but obviously needs to be fixed.

Not to be outdone, the electricity went off shortly thereafter and didn’t come back on til 7 this morning (about 4 1/2 hours).  Now one would think that for a large metropolitan city that I live in it would have come back on pretty readily.  Nope.  And I learned something very interesting:  Its one thing to have no air-conditioning; its a totally DIFFERENT story not to have any air CIRCULATION. 

Anyway, I’m on my 3rd beer for today (to go with the 6 yesterday) and I was trying to figure which song to go with.  Decided a different take.  Loved this song when it first came out and reminds me of the times when I was a party person.  Ah, “good ol’ days”.

where did I make the wrong turn?  Oh yeah, financial self-destruction and then the DWI - right
